I joined a web site recently and was invited to a forum where they are discussing the Indigo, Crystal and Star Children. It is suggested that these new types of humans that are being born to the planet to heal and create a new paradise and are here to save the world. Yet, again, no pressure on the children! It is as if what we are now needs to be fixed. The culture we live in seems to suggest we all are lacking in some way and need to search for Creator, salvation, enlightenment; and that it is something that is outside of us. We have to strive to achieve this elusive enlightenment. So we look to the new generation of children to help save us, our souls and our planet. This new age paradigm shift they say we are heading for and these children will lead the planet into some paradise. WOW! These children have nothing we do not.
We put people on pedestals and revere them as “special” “gurus” – of “holy people” etc. What I have seen in my journey is that while popular culture buys into this new age phenomenon, we excuse ourselves individually and collectively from living in our authentic state as we really need to tend to our personal comfort or agendas. We toy with the idea of enlightenment and spirituality as it seems nice – yet, we are all far too busy and honestly, don’t really want to do what it takes to live in that state.
The truth is, what we like about these folks are that they are simply mirroring a truth we hold in our own DNA somewhere. We are attracted to them as we are yearning to hold or live accordingly – and yet, we all possess the capability. To me, the teachers are here simply to reflect to us that which we all are already! They have simply chosen a life of authenticity where so many have opted to live the “popular culture” that was instilled in them at a very young age. So we look to the children of the “New Age” as hope to bring in this state of enlightenment. Yet, all these children are doing is truly reflecting to us what we each already are. So in knowing that, what will that mean for you? Think about it, if you were to truly live honestly what would your life look like?
In gratitude for awareness in this moment as that is all there is. I invite you to look at where your awareness is in this moment.
Namaste!
